Dr. Muchnick was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She is very excited to be moving to Austin to care for our furry friends and their families. She graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Sciences in Interdisciplinary Biology and received her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine & Surgery from the AVMA-accredited Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Scotland.

She is the proud owner of a gracefully-ageing pony, who is now teaching a new generation of horse-back riders to love and care for horses. In her free time, she enjoys reading, birding, traveling, cooking, lifting heavy weights, and getting out of her comfort zone.
